The international conference DesignTalks will take place in Harpa on April 24th.. Early bird tickets are now available to this popular event that has been sold out the last few years. Do not miss a full day of inspiration, innovation and creative powers!
“I feel that the conversation this time around needs to be more grounded and thoughtful, while challenging all sorts of current imbalances and on the other, a reconnection with the inner core, the intuition and purpose. I’m proposing we approach both with the mindset of the creative adventurer and a dash of the laissez-faire attitude of the ropedancer – who still reaches the other end.”
Hlín Helga Guðlaugsdóttir, DesignTalks curator
DesignTalks, an internationally acclaimed conference is an important platform for inspiration through rich conversations about important insights into the now and near and current challenges and opportunities of designers, architects and creative leaders, both local and international.
The event also addresses the challenges the world is facing and highlights the importance of design and architecture in that context with a vast array of talks on important projects, work and inspiring creative journeys, intertwined with rich conversations and mingling sessions. Nothing is off limits.
Fashion designers, food designers, architects, product designers and interactive designers have discussed sustainability and the circular economy in design, technology, equality, fungi, experience design, digital fashion, information design, systems redesign, design thinking, speculative futures, data literacy and design in space – for the earth.
