Chargé d´Affaires Jill Esposito has invited two designers that have been researching the future of space habitation –Michael Morris (USA) and Karl Aspelund (IS) to her residence and is hosting an afternoon of design centred conversations.
Get a chance to hear the designers talk about various topics over a game of question cards that have been specially designed to power and spark the discussion. Then continue the conversation over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine in this unusual setting.
Michael Morris (US) explores the future of architecture for human life in outer space and is currently working on the technology to robotically 3D print a habitat from in-situ resources on Mars.
Karl Aspelund (IS) is a designer and anthropologist, who has participated in 100 year Starship Project, where he has been researching the apparel and textiles for long-term space exploration and space-based communities.
