This year at DesignMarch Arctic Plank introduces a new furniture line in collaboration with Kormákur & Skjöldur.
Our purpose and passion is to create beautiful furniture, flooring and objects from recycled wood for both individuals and companies.
Arctic Plank’s ethos is sustainability and environmental consciousness. The company’s philosophy is manifested in their entire process, production, and business practices. Each product is designed with sustainability in mind and produced using ethically sourced recycled materials with innovative elements. The origin of the materials used by Arctic Plank are, among other things, traced back to Icelandic fishing boats almost a century old, docks who have withstood the test of time, aged roofs and pallets.
The line consists of a chair, side table and sofa upholstered with icelandic tweed wool which is manufactured by Kormákur & Skjöldur. The products are made with recycled oak from an old fishing boat.
Arctic Plank’s decor line will also be on display in Epal at the exhibition The countless colours of Icelandic design, exhibiting our end- and side tables, cutting boards, serving platters and the chair Fjörður.
